Little Maeley's Falling From the Sky

We took Maeley para shooting and she never had a shoot attached to her!!!

Just kidding, but she has been cooped up in the house a little more this week because I had my wisdom teeth taken out. No pictures of that thanks. But after playing what she calls "ball game" with Jace she wanted to be tossed into the air. She loves being tossed!!! We were laughing pretty hard...until Jace dropped her. Just kidding again!!!

Splash, Splash...Vroom, Vroom

One of mine and Jace's many goals is to someday own a boat...a nice boat. I can't wait for this day. This week our friends, Brandon and Natalie invited us to go boating and we had the BEST time! We all loved it!!! Jace and Brandon got behind the boat first then Natalie and I. She splashed me so much I couldn't breathe for the first 5 minutes!!! Then we both let go of our tubes to see how long we could last with “no hands”. She won. I would try to push her off her tube, but no dice. Brandon and Natalie switched places after awhile and I tried to push him off too, but his legs are so long I never even got close. We needed pictures of all this action, but needless to say, they would not have done justice. The water and the weather were perfect, we just needed more hours in the day. Love you guys and can't wait to go again.

Coastal Vacation

Our family just came home from the Oregon coast. We rented an awesome beach house that was right on the beach. It was so much fun!! We played in the sand, played frisbee, flew kites, explored sandy and rocky beaches, found starfish, visited a lighthouse, went four-wheeling, shopping, hiking, had great food (but not at the Blue Whale in Yachats) had a puppet show, played charades; and with all this fun, it didn't matter that we never saw sunshine.

Little Carson's Blessing

We have a lot to catch up on for our blog. The first thing we'll post is Carson's Blessing. It was a great day. Lotsa fun, food, laughs and memories. We had about 1/2 of both families come. We missed those of you that couldn't come because of work, distance, or serving a mission. And even those of you who (we found out later) went to the wrong building. The pictures are for you mom and dad. We missed you lots that day.

Is it too late to post for 4th of July???

We left almost a week ago and it feels like it's going to take me a week to get caught up. My house is dirty, the car needs washed, we have NO groceries (that's really nothing new) BUT I do have all the laundry done and the bedrooms clean.

We went to La Grande for the 4th of July. If you know us well, that is not shocking at all. While we were there we celebrated Jace's sister Meah's birthday. She's the best. We love you Mea-O.


After the birthday party we headed to Perryland. One of the best places you could ever go camping. It has everything you need and it's clean. Everyone camped for two nights except Carson and I, we stayed at my sister Sarah's house.


We had fun making a 4th of July cake and little cupcakes. We had SOOOO much frosting and experimented a lot, which is half the fun. Sarah's flag cupcakes were everyones favorite. We had a birthday BBQ with Becky and Dave to celebrate little Issac's birthday. We love little Issac and his reaction to some of his gifts. Too bad I didn't have my camera then.


I've been wanting to get my hair done and while I took a nap Jenna did my hair. She did such a good job making it pretty. Then Saturday evening we watched a funny movie and Katelyn, Maeley and Jenna had a short lived slumber party (because Maeley woke up screaming and ended up sleeping with Jace)


It was a fun trip and we can't wait to come back soon. We love LG and being with our family.

Question: What have the Perry's been doing?

Answer: We are adjusting to life as best as we can. In the last month we've discovered Carson and Maeley are complete opposites. He keeps us (mostly me) on our toes. We've had lots and lots of visitors. But mostly we've been hanging out and holding our little one.
